We ran our magic wands on the report UI for the complete health checkup they conduct for IQVIA / IMS Healthcare — a Fortune 500 and world’s largest health data science company. This program involved our tackling a project at a large scale as part of a collaborative effort with Medlife. In the end, we generated close to 9000 reports within a span of 3 weeks.
To measure the effectiveness of the program and to get a general idea into what the corporate fitness space is currently looking like, we sat down with Sourav Sipani, Chief Operating Officer at Getactive for a short interview.
In a recap of the overall experience of what it all looked like, Sourav began with the narrative about the scale and nature of the project. For the medical tests themselves, Getactive partnered with MedLife — a leading pharmacy, diagnostics, and e-consultation platform. Considering how the executives at IQVIA had asked for detailed reports which offered strong insight into a person’s potential health issues, Medlife suggested Getactive to reach out to Niroggyan for these reports. Close to 9000 Smart Reports were generated in the span of three weeks — close to 70 percent of all of IQVIA’s eligible workforce appeared for the test.
Talking about their partnership with NirogGyan, Sourav said that things went very smoothly. He mentioned that the company’s work was always up to their mark, and that any and all requests for extra parameters with the report were responded to and delivered perfectly on-time. He also mentioned that their technology integration with Niroggyan’s own was seamless
The user feedback for Smart Reports was overwhelmingly positive, with IQVIA stating that they were perfectly satisfied with the deliverables they had been provided. He cited the program as being a success. The fact that one of Niroggyan’s co-founders was an ex-IQVIA employee was just the icing on the cake.
Overall, all of this was in line with the nature of what Sourav feels is the ideal objective of Getactive. Talking about their line of work, Sourav explained how their core purpose — including the change that they want to see within the world — is to ensure observable improvement in health for their partners’ workforce. He added that they have an entire product line devoted to making sure that office-workers, who generally occupy sedentary lifestyles, remain active even within their line of work by giving them solo or team-based virtual challenges to work on while at work. According to him, it is now a very good thing for everyone that companies are becoming more mature in terms of recognising what is right for their employees, and have started caring about the physical, mental and social health of their employees. That creates a demand for products & services like Smart Reports — to take better, more holistic care of their employees.
Speaking about the future of the health & wellness market, Sourav explained that the next major disruption that we are seeing — and one that we are still trying to find an answer for — is the presence of COVID-19; as it’s a problem that nobody ever saw coming, the disruption that it creates within the market is going to be inherently unique. He believes that companies now have to grapple with the question of whether work-from-home is feasible and whether companies can adapt to this new way of working.
Cumulatively, while Sourav said that the appearance of an infectious disease such as this one is clearly bad, he said that the overall manner in which the disease affects the industry is still something that we are yet to see. He said that there are many answers towards corporate wellness that need to be figured out, and he hopes his firm can be the one to figure it out.
Closing out the interview, Sourav remarked that his overall experience working with NirogGyan has been stellar. As our short call came to a close, we wished Sourav all the best for any and all future endeavours he might attempt, both COVID and sans-pandemic!
